Simple executable code

Hi there.  Is there a simple way to change a backlight via an exe?

i.e.: lighton <unit> <button> <color> <on/off/blink>

Where unit is the xkeys unit number based on its USB location
Button is the # of the button you want to change
Color = red, blue or redblue
On/Off/Blink = on, off, blink

If someone has already written something like that, great, save me the time. :)

Thanks
Jeff

Re: Simple executable code

Do you want it to stay that way? Turn on or off and then you're set? If so, sounds just like you need the Backlight Utility we already provide. http://piengineering.com/PISupport/Soft … lities.php

Note: You cannot set it to always blink unless you're running software to manage the lights as you work, it cannot be stored in memory like "on" and "off" states.

Re: Simple executable code

I want a script to be able to change individual LEDs on the fly, leaving the rest alone.  So the only thing that changes is what I tell it.

That way I can have a script call this executable as required to alter LED settings.
