Re: Run command line commands in Windows with a keypress?

Sure thing. For example if I wanted to program a button to open the command window and execute "dir" for a list of directories I woudl program that like this:

Window Key R  (keystrokes tab)
Delay             (functions tab)
cmd+ENTER    (Keystrokes tab)
Delay             (functions tab)
dir+ENTER      (keystrokes tab)

now when I press the programmed button a command window will open up with a list of directories for me.

Awesome thanks this is very helpful as I didn't realize you could run keystrokes and function commands toggether in the macro so that opens a new door for me and secondly the command line example as I have many tools which are command line programs so this is great!
