2nd x-keys unit stops 1st from working

I own the larger t-bar keypad and have happily integrated this with vMix using shortcuts assigned to keys (vMix sees it as midi notes but this all works fine).

Today I plugged in a second 24 key keypad and was surprised to see this took over channel 1 and set my existing keypad to channel 2. This meant that all my vMix assigned keys did work.

Please can you advise on how I can plug the new smaller unit in and it be assigned to channel 2 keeping my existing setup as is?

Re: 2nd x-keys unit stops 1st from working

Hi Alex,

This is a vMix-specific question -- as in this symptom is specific to how vMix is handling the devices, not a general X-keys issue. I am not at all sure what the answer is. vMix would be able to answer best.

That said, maybe see if plugging them in, in a different order helps? If not, I recommend seeing if vMix themselves has a suggestion.
