Logging key use

Hi all,

Our company uses Xkeys for assistive technology use, and having metrics data about key usage would be very useful for us.

Are there any built in logs to track Xkeys key usage?

If not, can you recommend a good way of recording key usage.  An incremented number would be sufficient, but date/time would be useful as well.

I was playing with a command such as "cmd /c echo %date%%time% >> c:\temp\xkeys_log\1.txt", but this quickly pops up a CMD window.  There are 3rd party utilities such as Hstart, but at my company these types of programs are not allowed.

Any ideas?

Re: Logging key use

This requires programming. The best way to do this would be to write a program that does it. You can use our SDK to capture the button press then write data to a file. I wouldn't expect you to be able to do this cleanly with MacroWorks 3.1.
