Hi,
The error you pasted, did you get this right before having done something in particular with the device? For example, after pushing a button on it?
When the device isn't working properly can you "see" it with MacroWorks 3.1?
Which device do you have? That might be the most important information. Is this a newer Pi3 unit or an old MWII device? Or older?

yes, this error and MW3 shutdown happen only when i'm press the button.
and i've set this button to 'down arrow' command.
but the randomly turn on/off problem happen even when i'm away from my pc

This isn't common. I want to track down what may be happening here.
Next time you encounter this issue, don't unplug the device or restart MacroWorks. Instead go to C:\Program Files (x86)\PI Engineering\MacroWorks 3.1\ and run Device Finder.exe. Go through and press "Find Devices," "Device Info," and "Read Device." Push buttons after choosing "Read Device." Do you get data filling up the box as you press buttons?
I'm also curious what it says for Device Info, as well?
Do you have any larger keys or key blockers installed?

ok, this just happen again.
first it start with on/off 2-3 times when press the button and then MW3 show the error window and close itself.
i've follow your advice and this's a result.
(without restart MW3 i'm press the button and data code show on the box)

no, i don't change any keycap.just place a label that all.

So you say it starts "on/off" 2-3 times -- do you mean the lights go out? Do you get the "USB unplugged" message? What is happening when that happens? How do you know when it's "off"?
Also: Are you getting this error when pushing the button with MacroWorks 3.1's window open, or with it closed? (Generally we do not recommend playing back macros with the window open.)

It sounds like you may have a defective USB cord on your device. That's the only cause I can think of, other than your USB port itself being bad, for what you describe. If it is less than a year old it is in warranty and we can replace it. Please contact sales@piengineering.com to get an RMA.
