Press and release latency in linux

I've got a XK24 programmed in hardware mode that has unusually long latency in both press and release in Linux (Centos 7).  Not a huge issue but does cause problems with repeated clicks for things like advancing through clips and zooming in and out in video editing.

Works fine in both windows and Mac machines.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Press and release latency in linux

Copying an answer for you below:

One tip when programming for use on a Linux box: when you have finished programming and “Writing to device” go back to the “Unit Data” and use the “Change endpoints” button to switch your unit into a “Pure Hardware” mode, this would be an endpoint with Keyboard-Mouse-Joystick endpoint instead of the one that has a “PI Consumer” portion, endpoints with a software component (the PI Consumer) tend to behave a little laggy in Linux machines, once the endpoint has been switched to “Pure Hardware” the lagginess goes away.
