How to press 1 key and have another key or group of keys change colors

I can get a key to toggle it's own light from blue to red and back - thanks to another post. How can I get a key to toggle a separate key or group of keys' lights?

Thanks!

If you have successfully toggled a single backlight, it is the same for toggling other single backlights. The function to turn a light on asks which button you want to manipulate -- this does NOT have to match the one you're programming for. You can also include multiple instances of this function on a single key.

I want to make sure you have seen the code necessary for "toggling" at all: http://xkeys.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=135

Re: How to press 1 key and have another key or group of keys change colors

Thanks Amber,

Yes, I now have toggling working and can get 1 key to start a program and "light up" a section of the keyboard that pertains to that program.

I was a little hesitant messing around with the code at first but the more I play around with it the more I learn. I obviously had left out a step.

Thanks for being available to assist us!
