  • Download: Trackball LED Utility.zip
  • Instructions:
    • Be aware the program may flag a false positive on your virus protection. Please disable this software temporarily.
    • Launch the Trackball LED Utility program. (You may need to navigate the program using the keyboard shortcuts or an alternative mouse, as the trackball will be non-responsive during program mode.)
    • Second, disconnect your trackball. While holding the center button, reconnect the trackball to a local USB port, not on a hub or extension. The internal DPI LED will flash.

    • The Trackball LED Utility will now recognize the device. Select File, then import the proper hex file located in the utility’s directory. There are two hex files for turning the LEDs on and off. With the file selected, now choose ‘Erase/ Program /Verify’ from the Program menu. Follow the instructions on screen. After a short time, disconnect and reconnect the trackball to begin normal operation.
